Research Title: The Development of Listening-Speaking English Skills for Vocational students by Using the learning Packages of listening-Speaking English Skills, Vocational Certificate Program 2019

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to create and verify the efficiency of the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019 compared with criterion 80/80 2) to compare student achievement between pre- and post-study by using the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019 and 3) to study student satisfaction with the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019. The sample group were students in vocational level 1, computer program, registered to study listening-speaking English skills in Semester 2, Academic Year 2020, Nakhon Pathom Municipality Vocational College, Nakhon Pathom Province, total 23 people, which were obtained from random sampling by using the classroom as a unit. The research tools were the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019 including 8 books, the English listening of a multiple-choice test including 4 choices of 30 questions, the speaking skill assessment including 5-level rating scale and a questionnaire on student satisfaction with the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019. The data analysis using mean (x̄), standard deviation (S.D.), percentage (%) and t-test.

The results of the study found that

1. The effectiveness of the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019 (E1 / E2) was 83.61 / 87.39.

2. Students had learning achievement in listening and speaking during before and after class. The difference was statistically significant at the .05 level with a higher post-study score than before.

3. Student Satisfaction with the learning packages of listening-speaking English skills, vocational certificate program 2019 was overall at a high level.
